Aloha Freddy

Cross-cultural romance, magical realism, class divide, fate

Aloha Freddy is a hauntingly beautiful story about Freddy, a working-class Hawaiian boy, and Samantha, a privileged German girl. Their worlds collide through a mystical tiki head that draws her toward him—resulting in a powerful, tragic ending neither could escape.

Took me away yet kept me
close to reality!

A great read! All books and stories are there to transend us. This book did. Freddy is strong! I felt the writers heart and soul and genuine spirit and his love for the characters. I love his passion and his heart. A great short read to take you away!

kudos to the
UNDERREPRESENTED GROUPS

This book was a joy to ready. I love Freddy and can relate to the boy not having a mother and father.Life can make you feel left without with you lose your parents to death.I like the turns and twist and the fact that Freddy didn’t fall in love with Samantha because she was rich and pretty but Freddy is a hero even when he learns to speak American Sign Language. I think that the children raised with Transgender parents are under represented. Lets get more readers to read this story.

Best Friends to Tragedy

Sometimes when we are best friends with someone it never works out to fall in love. This is what Samantha did in hers and Freddy friendship. It had a bit of a Romeo and Juliet only thing is they were never lovers. I love how Transgender mother Misty X shows every part of motherhood in the story especially when she tells her adopted son Freddy, “I dont trust Samantha’. I would love to see it on the big screen!!!!!
